Lawry rolled over for the first time this weekend! He went from his back to his stomach in order to grab one of his favorite toys: the bunny made by Abby. He then got stuck on his stomach. He likes it at first, then starts trying to roll back over, then gets tired and puts his head down, and finally gives up and starts crying. At this point, we will take pity on him and move him on his back.
Check it out:
Watching him do new things is so awesome. This morning he was hanging out in his bouncer playing with an empty water bottle. He dropped it on the floor and then starting looking for it. He was really searching for it on the floor and tried to reach for it. He does something new all the time. I just think, Andrew and I made this wonderful little creature who is constantly learning and developing and changing. It blows me away when I really think about it.
He is also just so adorable. Andrew and I are both guilty of watching him sleep. I stare at him and cannot believe how beautiful he is. When he is doing something for the first time, how smart he is, how perfect just the way he is. I can become overwhelmed by my feelings for him. Sometimes I pray to God that nothing ever happens to him. I'm not even sure that I believe in God, but I do pray to a God in regards to Lawry. I will watch him and pray that I die first, that I will never have to endure the lose of him.
One more cute photo just cause:
